Détour Inc. is dedicated to maintaining a safe, trustworthy environment. We maintain an absolute zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse material (CSAM), child sexual exploitation and abuse (CSAE), online grooming, sextortion, human trafficking, or any activity that endangers minors.

Détour operates exclusively as an adult dating and social discovery platform for individuals who are at least 18 years old. We employ proactive technical controls, machine learning safeguards, human moderation teams, and law enforcement partnerships to identify and eradicate child safety threats.

2. 18+ Age Restrictions & Verification Controls

Access to Détour is strictly restricted to adults aged 18 and older. We enforce multiple layers of defense to prevent underage access:

• Date-of-Birth Verification: Mandatory date of birth collection at signup prevents account registration for individuals under 18.
• Phone Number & Identity Verification: One-time passcode (OTP) SMS verification linked to carrier risk scores helps prevent duplicate or deceptive account creation.
• AI Facial Age Estimation & Selfie Verification: Profile photo verification tools analyze selfie submissions against stated age to detect and flag potential age misrepresentation.
• Immediate Minor Account Termination: If an account is identified or reported as belonging to a minor under 18, the account is locked immediately, and all profile data and media are permanently purged from active systems.

We deploy automated detection tools and perceptual hashing technologies to intercept illicit media and harmful content before it reaches other users:

4. Prohibited Content & Behavior

Détour strictly prohibits the following content, communications, and behaviors on our platform:

• Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) & CSAE: Any image, video, audio, digital representation, or text depicting or facilitating the sexual abuse, exploitation, or sexualization of a child.
• Grooming & Adult-Minor Communications: Any attempt by an adult to establish contact, groom, solicit, or build trust with a minor for sexual, physical, or monetary exploitation.
• Sextortion & Financial Extortion: Threatening to expose private media or intimate images of any individual, including minors, for financial gain or coercion.
• Minor Sexualization & Inappropriate Depiction: Uploading photos or videos of children, even in non-explicit contexts, on adult dating profiles. Profile photos must feature only the adult account holder.
• Off-Platform Migration for Exploitation: Attempting to redirect users to external messaging apps or websites to engage in illegal exploitation or commercial solicitation.

5. Mandatory Law Enforcement & NCMEC Reporting

Under federal law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A) and international safety protocols, Détour fulfills strict mandatory reporting obligations.

6. Fast-Track User Reporting & Triage

We empower our community to report safety concerns instantly. Reports involving child safety or potential underage accounts receive highest priority triage by our safety response team:

1. In-App Profile & Vibe Reporting: Tap the options menu (...) on any profile, Vibe post, or chat screen → Select "Report" → Choose "Underage User" or "Child Safety Concern".
2. Direct Email Fast-Track: Send an urgent email directly to our dedicated safety team at support@joindetour.me with the subject line "Child Safety Urgency Report".

All child safety reports are handled confidentially and investigated within minutes of submission.

7. Account Enforcement & Permanent Device Banning

When a child safety violation or age misrepresentation is confirmed, Détour enforces immediate, irreversible penalties:

• Permanent Account Termination: The violating account is immediately deleted across all active systems.
• Device & Phone Hash Banning: Unique hardware identifiers (IDFV/GAID), phone numbers, and IP ranges associated with the offender are permanently blacklisted to prevent re-registration.
• Data Preservation for Law Enforcement: Evidence is securely frozen and preserved to support active law enforcement investigations or court subpoenas.
